So much for being in trouble!

Time outs seriously do NOT work in my house! My little ones ban together! Originally I stuck Rory in the corner but shortly after I would find Logan crawled up right next to her playing with her. So I decided that I would start putting her in Logan's play pen for time out. Well so much for that idea!

3 and up my butt!

This toy says 3 and up! 3 years and up my butt! Honestly what makes a toy 3 and up? Is it the fact that babies are likely to choke on small pieces?? Because this toy has NOTHING detachable!? Is it due to the fact that they figure it takes a child with 3 years of intelligence to figure out how to make the gadgets move? Because my soon to be 9th month old has got it all figured out. So I am sitting here contemplating what makes a toy appropriate for that age group? I have picked up soft infant rattles and checked the tags. Are you aware that most of those stuffed animal infant rattles say 3 and up as though a 3 year old is going to all of a sudden have a dire need for a rattle?!?!?! I am highly confused at how they decide on what makes a toy safe for that age group. And quite honestly I am surprised they don't put 3 and up on EVERY toy just for the sole fact that if something were to happen to a smaller child they couldn't be sued because after all they did put a warning on the tag; especially since we ALL look at tags! I mean don't you look at the tag of EVERY stuffed animal you buy your child? (This is sarcasm) lol anyways my children love this toy so I say forget you 3 and up toys! You make my 9 month old and 2 year old VERY happy :)

Well I watched my boss/friend's daughter tonight! She is such a total sweet heart! I just wanted to cuddle with her all night! She had a complete and udder crush on my son and husband lol! She kept loving up on Logan giving him hugs and kisses and then every time my husband walked in the room she would smile and wave at him! yeah I know those Sanders' men are studs ;) Anyways here are a couple snap shots I took tonight :)

Laundry Day part 2

Today today today! There really isn't much to say about today. It was a relatively boring day. I spent more time online instead of cleaning. I am tired of cleaning! I envy those who can clean for a living! I think I would go insane... although it is fun to go through other's things instead of my own lol. Anywho, here is the second laundry pic!

Laundry Day

It seems that both of my babies have an obsession with laundry! Whether clean or dirty they don't care they want to play with it, crawl in it, drool on it and throw it around! My daughter loves to unfold the clothes faster than I can fold them and my son likes to chew on the ones that get flung on the floor! So it is because of this obsession with laundry I decided to do a series of laundry pictures! These pictures consist of my son being adorable sitting in our laundry basket! I will post one tonight and post more tomorrow :)

Piano

I started playing the piano when I was 7 years old. I used to practice on one of those tiny tiny little happy meal sized keyboards. I taught myself twinkle twinkle little star and it was all down hill from there! My parents allowed me to take lessons where my love for music thrived. I used to play all day, and I am sure I drove my parents nuts with the endless noise. And although I rarely play now, I am so grateful for the fact that I know how! However, rusty I may be I know if I were to practice again I would be able to play beautiful music once more!

My parents bought me this little glass piano when I was a little girl and I have always treasured it!

Hecticness.... is that even a word???

Well this weekend has been pretty hectic! I haven't had time for much of anything. I managed to snap a couple pics of my friend's cat this evening. I just got home and am about to go to bed but thought I'd post this first :) So here is The Cat... I can't remember his name.. I think it is something like gnarly or something. And in true form of rambling I am making NO sense! I really am tired lol.

My husband and I have been painting the house ALL day!!! I didn't have very much time for my camera... unless I wanted paint all over it lol. I still wanted to share a picture I just found on my computer this evening! I took it a while ago but I still think she is cute with her little pouty face :)

It's late, I'm tired

Logan's 8 month pic

My little boy turned 8 months old on the 10th! And as a long standing tradition that means I have to do studio portraits lol. This is mainly for my mom in the fact that she prefers the look of a simple backdrop versus the natural lighting look. It was quite a task to not only be the photographer but the parent who is trying to keep my lil wiggle worm on the backdrop haha I think maybe next time I should wait for my hubby to get home to try and take the picture! Then he can keep putting Logan back and I can worry about snapping adorable pics :) ANYWHOO here is my son's 8 month picture :)





Oh and I have to tell you that the blanket he is so adorably wrapped up in was made by his Great Aunt Dot! Not only is she my aunt and his great aunt she really is GREAT ;) She has made some awesome blankets, clothes and dolls, stuffed animals and other things for my kids!!!

My Funny Valentine

My hubby went out last night and bought these for me and I had no clue until I woke up this morning! Don't ya just love his romantic note :) lol he gave me a really sweet card/letter too but this one makes me laugh :D

So how is it that my son will have RAZOR sharp CLAWS and only scratch me to pieces but as soon as I trim all 20 of his nails he scratches his face????

Tired

I have had a SUPER busy day!!!! I just finished editing a wedding and a HUGE ordeal trying to order the album that I intended on ordering. I ended up using somewhere else so I hope that the bride and groom are happy with the end results!

Anyways it has been SO beyond hectic today that I haven't had much time to do anything! I still wanted to share a picture of my buddy April! Isn't she Pretty!

Girls' night Out

Me and my Sisters-in-law had a Girls night out at Famous Daves! It was a ton of fun! I got to drink (which I haven't done in about 3 years) so that was fun! I thought I would have gotten a lot more drunk than I did hahah. Oh well I guess this lil white girl can still hold her liquor!

Well today has been a pretty laid back day! I have been hanging out with my kids and just enjoying it! My sweet little girl decided to take all of my old college text books out to look at! I thought it was too cute and couldn't help but snap a few pics!

SLACKER

Well my wonderful hubby took me out to buy me a couple new outfits! All of my clothes are so old and since having 2 babies they all fit weird!!!! My body is OBVIOUSLY not the same lol! I weigh the same but nothing is where it used to be hahaha! Anyways main point of this story is I was out shopping ALL day and didn't take any pics so I am forced to post a couple pics from this past month!!! Im sorry! I'll post some new pics tomorrow!!!!

Crayons

Well my beautiful little girl decided that she wanted to start potty training today! Not to get into the gory details but basically I let her have a marker to color when she was on the potty. I know BAD mistake, well she LOVED it! So I set her up at the table with a bunch of washable markers and let her have a blast! This was the response I got when I told her that she was NOT allowed to draw on herself. HAHA Kids aren't they GREAT!!!

Well here goes it! This is my second attempt at a blog! I am hoping that this will be more successful than the first. So why am I deciding to do a blog? Well I have a few reasons! My main reason is self glorification! hahah I am just kidding! Honestly though my first reason is to be inspired! I love photography and I want to be inspired to take pictures EVERY day! So my first reason is to have an outlet for my creativity and to post at least one picture a day! My second reason is so that I can see how I grow as a photographer. I want to perfect my art and so I know that I am getting better I want to be able to look back and see work that I have done and my thoughts on that work! And my last reason, and probably most important is YOU. I want to be able to keep YOU my friends, my family my clients, informed on what I am doing with my photography! I want you to be able to see what is new in my life and see what I am working on everyday! Whether it be a wedding, a birthday party, random pics, or anything else! YOU are my inspiration and my reason for having this blog!
